Who Are we?

Melanie and Steven chillin' on the steps, wrapped in love and culture. They’re the heart of Ndáko, where passion meets Hip Hop vibes, blending diversity with unity. This ain't just fashion, it's a movement.

We’re Steven and Melanie, a multicultural, married duo holding it down in the Netherlands. Our story kicked off in 2010 when we met and fell in love in Essen, Germany. A year and a half later, we packed our bags and moved to the Netherlands for our studies. Along the way, we connected with some dope people who turned into lifelong friends, and even family, scattered all over the globe. That’s why we got so many places we call home—’cause home is where your heart is, right?

 

In 2018, we tied the knot, wrapped up our studies, and locked down full-time gigs in the Netherlands. So yeah, we’ve been posted up here ever since. But here’s the deal: we’re all about living life as a power couple while keeping it real as individuals. We’re both super passionate and got this big dream:

The world is home to us all!

 

Now, let’s keep it 100—we’re all about sustainability. We ain’t perfect, but we stay doing our homework, open to change, and always down to learn something new.

 

With full-time office jobs, we cherish our quality time in the garden, watching our veggies and fruits grow. We’re all about that life—sports, dinner with fam and friends, and of course, our own dope hobbies.

Steven? Man, he’s wild about sports—believes in that “your body is your temple” mantra. If we ain’t training together, he’s hitting the gym solo or with the crew, breaking it down with breakdance moves, scuba diving, or coaching soccer. But he’s got his chill side too—loves space and stargazing through the telescope, peeping planets. Oh, and don’t forget music—playing the piano is a dream he made real. Wherever we travel, we gotta find a piano for Steven to jam on and a cool coffee spot for Melanie to indulge her coffee passion.

Breaking it down in front of the old industrial park, Steven shows his moves, reppin’ that Hip Hop culture with pride. It's not just a dance, it’s a lifestyle – where the streets meet style, and every move tells a story. This is who we are, living the culture with every step.

Speaking of Melanie, she’s into sports too, not as hardcore as Steven, but she’s all about that healthy diet—cooking, baking, and meal-prepping like a boss. She lives by “You are what you eat.” Beyond that, she’s got mad creativity—whether it’s drawing, sewing, designing, or even getting artistic in the kitchen.

 

That’s us, living life to the fullest and making our dreams reality, one day at a time.
